Yaeger CPA Review Course - My Personal Review The Yaeger CPA review course was not the first CPA review course I ever used. The result was much better than anticipated as I passed the three sections with flying colors.
The claims on the Yaeger website are bold as they claim a high pass rate of 88%. Dr. Phil Yaeger has helped people prepare for the exam since 1977. Dr. Yaeger and his experienced team offers something that unique and distinctive from competitors - an "Instructors Hotline" (an 800 number) that students can call to ask questions about the key concepts or about the exam in general. I made regular calls to this hotline number and have spoken to very patient lecturers (including Dr. Yaeger himself a couple of times) who never finished the call until I had no further questions.
The teacher would first explain important concepts, and then take students through multiple choice questions and simulations. A benefit of the Yaeger system is that more lesson time is used on materials that are more likely to appear on the paper. Likewise, they would tell people to focus more on doing sample questions that have the highest chances of turning up in the actual exam.
Each DVD teaches a reduced version of a single CPA section and varies between 7-16 hours. This includes the lesson videos they record annually. Thus, the candidate can be confident that they are learning from the most up-to-date information.
Even with their high quality, Yaeger CPA products are priced lower than many other CPA exam review courses. Overall, I am very happy with the Yaeger CPA review course and would recommend it highly to anyone trying to pass the CPA exam.
